In January 2000, Edwina, a pit bull lab mix, came into my life. She came from an abusive home. I know from the moment I saw her "help me" eyes that we were destined to be together. Edwina needed a good home and I needed a companion. Within weeks, her toy bin was full, she gained a healthy bit of weight and even made our elderly family dog very happy by becoming her mental stimulation. Every year she gets her halloween costume, Christmas bells, Thanksgiving dinner, birthday cake and party. She is not only the dog in my house, she is The Queen...and she knows it. So when people ask what inspired me to make doggie treats for a living, all I have to say is "My Edwina." I believe every dog should get the love that Edwina does.
